Organisation for Sustainable Development Africa
A youth-led local NGO working with communities in Northern Kenya. Headquartered in Mandera County with offices in Moyale, Marsabit, Garissa and liaison office in Nairobi. Also registered with Federal Governments of Ethiopia and Somalia. OSDA's thematic focus areas are Peace, Security and Governance, Research and Advocacy, Food Security and Livelihood (FSL), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Climate Action and Health and Nutrition.

Climate and Health Connect
Founded by Kenyan female doctors to address the interconnection between climate change, health, and human vulnerability. Began as a grassroots movement, engaging in proactive household visits to impart critical knowledge to expectant mothers about antenatal care. Works predominantly in Kenya's ASAL regions.

Somali Lifeline Organisation
A Nonprofit NGO established in 2009 with 10+ years of experience in humanitarian, early recovery and developmental interventions in Somalia and Kenya. Works with national and state governments, local communities to mitigate drought, floods, conflicts, disease outbreaks and GBV. Strong capacity in Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR).
TINADA Youth Organisation
A youth-led organization with 20+ years' experience supporting young people. Uses family-to-family and Youth-to-Youth focused interventions to demonstrate human rights and sustainable community empowerment. Recently (2021) opened offices in Uganda. Promotes integrated mental health, education empowerment, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Decent Work.
Agency for Pastoralists Development
An NGO based in Lodwar, Turkana County implementing programs in pastoralist ASALs and along international border lines with Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia. Thematic areas include Peacebuilding and Governance, Sustainable Livelihoods Development and Animal Welfare, Women empowerment & Gender Equity, Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation.

Action Life
Formerly Kiunga Youth Bunge Initiative (KYBI), est. 2007. Focuses on humanitarian interventions, human rights advocacy, security, and peace building. Youth-leaning in both operations and programs — premised on the fact that youths are most vulnerable to exploitation, misrepresentation, and radicalization. Operates across Coastal Kenya and Somalia.
Northern Frontier Youth League
Established in 2005 in Somalia and Kenya, registered in Kenya in 2015. Aims to build confidence, raise self-esteem, and empower communities to participate fully in their development and decision-making in affairs that affect them. Registered under the Federal Government of Somalia (2014, Ref no 2015/089-A).
Candle of Hope Foundation
A multi-faceted women-led organization dedicated to catalyzing positive change since 2016. Community-initiated programs foster empowerment, sustainability, and resilience. Engages in Anti-Human Trafficking, Health and Nutrition, Education, Emergency Response on Food Security, Livelihoods, Smart Farming, Peace Building, and Inclusive Initiatives for people with disabilities and those affected by HIV/AIDS.

ASDEF
Formed in 2013 to bring forth the voice of women in decision making. Comprises women leaders, youth, and persons with disabilities from diverse ethnic communities of Isiolo. Serves as a vital bridge between community members and leadership structures, striving to foster self-reliance and socio-economic empowerment among women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Pastoralist Concern Kenya
Originally registered as MECOCO (Marsabit Environmental Conservation Consortium) on 9th August 2007. Works with nomadic pastoralist communities across the Horn of Africa. Operationalizes Nature-Based Solutions to lift local communities out of poverty through sustainable, locally-led programs that balance conservation and human livelihoods.

Development Concern Initiative
A registered NGO in Kenya focused on building community resilience and improving livelihoods for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Founded by professional youth from Northern Kenya, DCI's guiding principle is 'Leaving No One Behind' in pursuit of sustainable development from a grassroots perspective. Manages resources to create a humane and sustainable environment for pastoralists and urban poor populations.
LEMIDA AFRICA
A Nairobi-based NGO working to strengthen value chains, enhance livelihoods, and promote environmental sustainability through capacity building, market access, and the development of regenerative and inclusive practices. Supports smallholder farmers with improved inputs, modern farming practices, and post-harvest solutions across the Rift Valley and western Kenya.

Sisters for Empowerment and Assistance
A women-led organisation combining humanitarian response with long-term development approaches to ensure women, girls, and vulnerable communities have equal opportunities to thrive. Through partnerships with community leaders, government institutions, and grassroots movements, SEA creates pathways for empowerment, dignity, and sustainable change across nine counties in Northern and Coastal Kenya.

Zamzam Foundation
A community-focused foundation operating across Nairobi and Coastal Kenya counties, delivering integrated programmes in education, health, social development, WASH, and economic empowerment. Targets vulnerable and marginalized communities across seven counties.

Concern Worldwide
A non-governmental, non-denominational, non-political international humanitarian organisation founded in response to the Biafra crisis in Nigeria in 1968. Dedicated to reducing suffering and ending extreme poverty. Concern began operations in Kenya in May 2002.
